Bitumen Replacement - Oldfields Scaffolding, Regency Park

Oldfields Scaffolding contacted us regarding failing bitumen that needed to be replaced with concrete at their warehouse in Regency Park. The bitumen was a hazard as many forklifts were using the area daily and large holes were starting to appear. We engaged In-Depth Locations to provide an underground service scan of the area to ensure no utilities were located where we would be cutting the bitumen. We also lodged a request with 'dial before you dig' to locate any gas, water or power services. Once we received the 'all clear', we cut the damaged bitumen, used our excavator to pull it up and dumped it at Resource Co Wingfield. We then installed and compacted rubble, then installed forticon plastic and reinforcing which was provided by Adamis Sand & Metal. Concrete was supplied by Adbri Adelaide. We finished the concrete with a nonslip finish. We returned the next day to sawcut control joints in the job and ensure all was left clean and tidy.
