The finished product.

Path after acid washing and seeding pebbles.

Path before acid washing and washing.

We finished the job with some mulch and plants which really set off the area.

The initial area.

Our client engaged us wanting to revamp an outdoor area down the side of their house that was being unused. There was an existing small paved path and some bark chips, but the space had a lot of potential to become a beautiful 'zen zone'. We came up with a design using an exposed aggregate path which tied in with and matched a feature piece of decorative stonework the client owned and she loved it.

We began by removing the existing pavers and dumping them at Resource Co Wingfield. We then levelled the area with some rubble and set out the path. We customised some curved form work for the path and then installed forticon plastic and reinforcing from Biancos Reinforcing. We then poured the path using Premix 'Cream' and threw on a custom pebble mix from Newtons Sand and Metal. We then acid washed the path and pressure washed exposing the beautiful cream colour and the contrasting stones.

We returned the next day to seal the job, install new bark chips from Adamis Sand and Metal and plant some plants the client had. The space looked incredible and is now the perfect place to sit, relax and enjoy a coffee.
