House Extension - Broadview

Our client engaged us to quote works on their house extension in Broadview. We began by setting out the proposed addition. We then supplied and installed 100mm of quarry rubble from Resource Co Wingfield and compacted it. We then began to excavate the footings. We also removed some existing tree stumps at the request of the owner and dumped them at Jeffries at Wingfield.

Once the footings were completed, we engaged Bianco Reinforcing to supply and deliver the reinforcing. We began by installing the forticon plastic and then placed in the reinforcing and mesh. Once this was completed, we contacted the engineer to inspect the work. We installed formwork to the perimeter of the slab area and set downs for the bathroom.

Next step was concrete. The client will be having polished concrete throughout the extension and had selected the colour 'Billabong' from Adbri which will look great polished. We used Zoumis Concrete Pumps to pump the concrete.

The client was very happy with the final product and now have the base to continue building their dream extension.
